Non-Stop Excitement at English Camp

Some of the kids at English Camp

Monday: Cowboy Day

Tuesday: Field Trip to the mountains

Wednesday: Nerd/Weird Hair Day

As you can tell from the photos, we've had a lot of strange characters running around at Camp. Canadians, Poles, and Americans have all tried their best to dress to fit the theme days and have had lots of fun in English classes and playing all sorts of crazy games.

Yesterday, the evening session and discussion groups were a bit more serious as we began talking about the problem of sin and the fact that each of us failed.

Tonight is "Decision Night" and the Canadian students and Polish volunteers will be sharing God's message of salvation with the campers. They will be performing the "Everything" skit, set to Lifehouse's song of the same title. It is a powerful skit and we are expecting it to be a moving experience for the campers. Eva, a Polish volunteer will be sharing her testimony as well and has been feeling lots of spiritual pressure. Please pray very hard today for the campers and united team of volunteers who will be running everything. Pray for safety and protection from spiritual attack as well.

Thank you!

Great Start to English Camp

Yesterday we had a great start to English Camp. The Canadian and Polish teams did a wonderful job teaching English, leading games, leading discussion groups, and getting to know the students. The weather has been beautiful too...and hot!

Please continue to pray for the hearts of the kids who are coming to camp, for unity of the believers leading the camp, and for safety.

Pray also for Karolina, Filip, Marcin, and Sabina, four of the kids at camp by name that they have fun, meet friends, and learn about faith.

We're having a blast and looking forward to the rest of the week. Pray that our energy levels remain high and we can get to know even more kids!

Just did a 55KM (34 miles) bike ride with one of my English students. Please continue to pray for opportunities to share the love of Christ.

Thanks.

Exciting Times!

There is so much happening in Rzeszow this summer! In a few weeks we will be welcoming a team from Canada that will be leading an English Camp. We are also seeking God's wisdom in new ministry opportunities. Several school teachers have said that they want to work with us, and we are hoping to meet with these teachers this summer to come up with a plan for the next year.

We are also initiating a new Internship Program for those who want gain ministry experience over a summer or 1-2 year term. Interns will have the several ministry tracks to choose from. Please pray as we develop this program. We are hoping to welcome the first interns as early as next summer.

In September, I (Amber) will be returning to the US for my first furlough. While I'm there, I will be raising support, recruiting new team members, and visiting supporters and churches. I am very excited about the opportunity I have to represent Pioneers and my team at Moody Bible Institute's missions conference in October. I am looking forward to meeting students and sharing about ministry opportunities in Poland.

Thank you for praying!

English camp

Pray that we will meet our goal of 100 students to be a part of the English camp at the end of the month.

Here is a picture when we visited a school promoting the English camp.
